JEFF TOLMAN MUSIC AWARD

"Encouraging and instilling a love for music in people of all ages."

Jeff Tolman, devoted husband, father, and talented musician, passed away suddenly in April 2006.  Our community was left reeling with shock and grief. Located in Vinalhaven, Maine, The Jeff Tolman Music Award was formed to help us heal and to carry on Jeff's love for music.  Our mission is to encourage and instill a love for music in people of all ages.  We try to accomplish this mission through various outlets.  We make yearly donations to our school music program, have a college scholarship  available to graduating seniors of Vinalhaven High School who want to pursue a music education, offer funding for music lessons to those in need, and donate to various local people/organizations who's purpose it is to promote music education.
